Hey Loves!

Boy do I have a lot to share with you! Today was just an insanely crazy day. My sisters, cousins and I ran through so many memories and emotions it was intense at times. We started off by heading to Funhouse Tattoos so I could get my tattoo for Ben & Jeaneane. I got 2 feathers on my shoulder/back, so I have their angel wings on my back always and forever.

Ben was like my older brother, my sisters & I practially grew up with him and his brothers, he passed away in a tragic car accident when he was only 17. I can’t believe that it has almost been 8 years. I miss him every day, and I dream about him every night. I feel like I dream about him so much that we literally have conversations with each other.

Jeaneane was Jill’s best friend whom was like a little sister to me who passed away from brain cancer right after she turned 16. Jeaneane has so much courage and strength to battle that disease. She will always be my hero for trying her hardest to pull through.

Ben & Jeaneane touched my lives in so many ways and I am so happy to have something on my body in memory of them. I know they are both around me, and their angel wings will be forever on my back.

So after I got my tattoo, my sisters and I met up with my cousins and we planned on opening this box we buried in the ground 10 years ago. We buried all our hopes and dreams in the box & it was really exciting to finally open this sucker.

We then decided before we open the box to head to our OLD community we grew up together in. We headed into the gated community and all the memories and emotions floaded everyone. We stopped by our old house and my cousins house. It is really sad to see everything so abandoned.

Last we made a surprise stop by Tony Jr’s house (which is Ben’s older brother) we haven’t seen him in SO long & we all finally got to meet his beautiful daughter, Serena.

We finally decided we were going to make another time capsule, bury it in Cindy’s yard and open it 10 years from now. Except this time we are going to write letters to ourselves. It is such a fun way to stay close with your family and have something unique to share with each other.

Today was so magical and amazing and I know that Ben & Jeaneane were with us today and watching over us. Check out this gallery of a blast from the past.
